In 2021, MonkeyLeague raised initial funds totaling $4M in a private sale from web3’s biggest VCs including, Solana Capital, Alameda Research, NFX, CMS Holdings, Drive by Draftkings, Republic, iAngels, LongHash, 6th Man Ventures, as well as high powered angels as the founders of Draftkings, eToro, and IronSource.
In 2022, from the depths of a crypto winter, UnCaged completed a Series A equity round with some of gaming’s biggest VCs and more. The round was led by Griffin Gaming Partners and included Vgames, Maverick Ventures Israel, Max Stealth, Drive by Draftkings, and 6th Man Ventures.
The raise further cements UnCaged’s place as a web3 gaming leader and allows the studio to fulfill its mission of building a vast web3 ecosystem with a franchise of esports games at its core.
